unpopular lost opinion time that is under a read more because who even watches/talks about this anymore (besides the small segment of Lostfen remaining)
Kate and Sawyer had a horrible romantic relationship and had it been allowed to progress beyond the tease and occasional making-out/sex it would have been one of the most self-destructive things on that show
and I say this taking into account Locke and his father, Jack and his father, Sun and Jin in their opening arc, etc
they brought out in each other exactly what they didn’t like/were trying to change about themselves
and that is sort of why they were constantly
not-feeling-good afterward
contrast with Sawyer and Juliet, whose relationship should have been given more screen-time because:
- my precious bbs
- Juliet was fierce as hell
- it was healthy and clear (even in the short time we were given with them) that they didn’t perpetuate in each other all the things they didn’t like in themselves
I have a lot of feelings about this show.
