Have you peaked at the script for ME3??? I mean, don’t do it if you don’t want to obviously. But I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! There were things with ME2 that really bothered me as far as dialogue went and it looks like it’s been tweaked & enhanced to feel… better. The script looks (mostly) sweet as hell, anon. It should be a pretty good game based off that alone.
I know very few people that play Bioware games strictly for the actual gameplay (which, imo, is pretty standard overall — I think DA2 had the most enjoyable combat if not the most complex (tbh I hated Origins’ combat and it is the main reason I only have two completed playthroughs (F!Mahariel and F!Amell) and seven half complete ones, like, okay it is complex and tactical but GOSH was it slow and just the opposite of fun for me))?? Like, are there specific things that you think fall short of “good” or is it just in general????
I can see where you’d be intensely disappointed with DA2 — even if I don’t really agree with a lot of the criticism about the writing itself — buuuut.
Then again I’ve never played anything by BW besides the ME and DA games, so I guess I am missing out on the ~glory~ days. /intense shrug
